Drawings, not pictures
Every plan is dimensioned in millimetres, with rooms labelled by area and door swings drawn. If a builder can’t price it, it isn’t a plan.
Chimbuko is Swahili for origin. We built the tool a senior architect would want at their own desk: it captures the brief, drafts a first-pass plan in minutes, accepts critique in plain English, and emits a drawing set a draftsperson can pick up in AutoCAD. Built in Nairobi — for people building in Kenya.
Every plan is dimensioned in millimetres, with rooms labelled by area and door swings drawn. If a builder can’t price it, it isn’t a plan.
Plans are checked against Kenyan residential code rules with the rule cited on the drawing. Every sheet is marked schematic pre-design until an architect stamps it.
The engine assists; a BORAQS-registered architect reviews and signs. Liability and reputation stay where they belong — and we pay properly for that judgment.
Previews are obscured — dimensions, scale and title block held back. Pay and the same drawing arrives clean and to scale. We never re-generate after you pay, so nothing you approved can quietly change.
We are early, and we would rather say so than decorate the page. What is true: Chimbuko is built in Nairobi by Chimbuko Technology Solutions Limited; plans are generated by our own engine and reviewed by registered architects; and every plan in the catalogue is unretouched engine output, rendered through the production pipeline — not mockups, not a designer’s illustration. Each one passes the same Kenyan code checks a client’s plan does, and its compliance sheet ships in the set.
When clients consent to share their own plans, those will publish here too. Until then, judge us on the sets we show you in full.
